Introduction
Happiness at Work is about having positive emotions at work, continuously developing yourself and using your talents in line with your personal and the organisation’s purpose. More and more organisations realise that happy employees contribute to the success and bottom-line of the organisation.
Paying attention to a happy work environment generates many benefits for employees, as well as the organisation itself.
Research from the UN[1] shows that happy employees:
- Are more productive;
- Are more motivated to do their job;
- Are more creative;
- Are better at working together;
- Have lower sickness rates.
Reasons enough to put happiness on the agenda of every organisation.

Workshop Happiness at Work
Personal ownership is an important prerequisite for achieving happiness at work. The organisation can create the right circumstances and facilitate happiness at work but in the end it is the individual employee who is responsible for being happy at work.
During the Happiness at Work workshop we provide participants with insights and tools on how to achieve (more) happiness at work. The workshop is an inspiring and fun event which gives the participants knowledge on happiness at work based on the latest research. During the workshop the participant will learn:
- What happiness at work is;
- Why it is important;
- How he or she can achieve (more) happiness at work.
The basis for the workshop is our P3F-model (Purpose, Flow, Fun & Friendship). There are plenty of exercises where the participants can work based on their own circumstances and come up with ideas and plans for creating a better and happier workplace for themselves and the organisation.
Measuring happiness at work before the workshop will give insight and will make it possible to tailor the workshop to the specific needs of the participants.
